Director's Statement from Shayne Leighton
Audiences look at The Incubus, and they see a ghost story. I look at The Incubus and I see a love story. I created these characters in order to preserve those which I hold dearest to me. This story is about a man, incapable of love. Incapable of feeling. But once he was able to open himself up to the vast world that was at his feet, that was when he was able to see true beauty. This film contains elements of the paranormal, because I enjoy the things we don't and will not understand. This film contains elements of death, because without the thought of death we can not appreciate each day that we are alive. This film contains elements of hate, because without the existence of hate, we would not appreciate the wonderful feeling that love does bring. I hope that audiences everywhere will be able to celebrate these things as my cast, crew, and I have learned to celebrate along this short, but invaluable journey.

The Score
Anthony Espina, a 20 year-old composer, from West Palm Beach, Florida. I am a self-taught pianist since the age of twelve, which is when I began writing my own composition's for piano. My music mainly consist of genres: Classical, New Age. I am currently pursing my goal of becoming a film composer under the tutelage of acclaimed composer Donald Waxman and Pianist Jho Waxman. I have recently won the Palm Beach Idol talent show with my original piano composition, "Our Fallen Radiance" for piano and cello. I Recently scored my first independent film "Lucky Streak and the Crime Fighters", and short film "The Dollhouse". I am now writing the music score for Independent film "Incubus". I believe it is my personal duty to share the magic of music through my pieces, and hope to one day be able to touch and influence many.
